As it owns a unique geological structure caused by the volcanic eruption, all white houses are built on high rocks.
Wandering around this island, you can see buildings with white walls and blue roofs, which form strong visual contrast with surrounding deep-blue seawater. In particular, those churches with blue domes are the must-have in Greek postcards. Every household, hotel and restaurant on the island has large terraces. You can sit in canvas chairs, drink coffee and enjoy spectacular seascape. It is really a great enjoyment of life. I bet you will remember these wonderful memories forever.
